How to earn Spirit points?
The Spirit program is free to join. You can earn Spirit Points through its branded credit cards and transactions with Spirit partners.
Earn points by flying on Spirit Airlines
When you travel, you can earn points based on your price and status.
- Member: 6 points per dollar.
- Silver: 8 points per dollar.
- Gold: 10 points per dollar.
- Points are awarded based on your ticket without tax. If you travel from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) to Orlando International Airport (MCO) for a $50 access, you’ll earn 300 points.
You can also earn points on seat selection and boarding — albeit at a higher rate:
- Member: 10 points per dollar.
- Silver: 16 points per dollar.
- Gold: 20 points per dollar.
How do Spirit points work?
There are two types of spirit points:
- Free Spirit Points: Earned on flights.
- Status Qualifying Points (SQPs): You allow retention.
Do Spirit points expire?
Your points will expire if they are not accumulated or accumulated in 12 months, but if you have a Free Spirit® Travel More World Elite Mastercard® or Frontier Airlines World Mastercard®, points will not expire.
